Candied Carrots

An easy recipe to transform a can of carrots into a delectable side dish.

Ingredients

  • 15 oz can Sliced Carrots drain
  • 2 slices Cooked Bacon I used Al Fresco chicken bacon
  • 2 Tbsp Walden Farms Pancake Syrup or a lower calorie syrup of your choice
  • 2 Tbsp (14g) Crushed Pecans
  • 1/8 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Microwave the bacon for 25-30 seconds until crispy and either crumble or chop. Set aside.

  2. Drain the can of carrots and add to a mug or bowl. 

  3. Add the remaining ingredients and gently stir everything together.

  4. Microwave for 90-120 seconds. Enjoy!
